Hospitality projects demand materials that perform under high traffic, withstand aggressive cleaning protocols, and maintain visual appeal over decades. Natural stone meets all three criteria when properly specified.
Lobby floors: Mountain Black Mirror or Atlas Grey Honed in 60x60cm or 80x80cm formats. The large format reduces grout lines (a maintenance concern in high-traffic areas) and creates a sense of grandeur at reception level.
Spa wet rooms require slip-resistant finishes (R11 minimum) and stone that tolerates constant moisture. Atlas Grey Castle and Solara Castle are ideal — their sandblasted texture provides grip while the limestone's density prevents moisture absorption beyond surface level.
For hospitality, we recommend a sealed maintenance protocol: initial penetrating sealer before grouting, re-application every 2-3 years, daily neutral pH cleaning, and quarterly deep clean with stone-specific detergent.
